🚨 Notice to importers - Tariff suspensions and quotas 🚨

📢 Reduced or zero-duty imports
To ensure an adequate supply of certain agricultural and industrial products that are not available in the European Union, Regulations (EU) 2024/3211 and 2024/3213 suspend customs duties on these products.

💡 What are the advantages?
These products can be imported into the EU at reduced or zero duty rates.

📆 Duration and monitoring of tariff suspensions
- A suspension is valid for 5 years, renewable unless opposed by a European producer.
- The European Commission monitors their use: only those generating at least €15,000 in savings per year are automatically renewed.

🔎 E valuation results - January 2026 cycle

Notice to importers no. 2025-26 of February 27, 2025 lists all the TARIC headings concerned:
✅ Green list: suspensions automatically renewed.
❌ Red list: suspensions below the required threshold, requiring a request for extension before March 28, 2025, on pain of deletion.

⚠️ Important points for importers
For chemical substances, the extension request must include:
- The REACH registration number
- A data sheet specifying the purity of the product
